The second day of the Judo championship of Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk, November, 15-19) gave supporters a little sensation – the representative of Eastern Kazakhstani region Dastan Ykybaev (pictured) became the best one among men in the weight class up to 73 kg, who first didn’t let Sergey Lim gain the final (10:0, afterwards he conceded to Ertugan Torenov in petite final for bronze medal – 0:5), and further, in the decisive fight, defeated another leading judoka of the team Azamat Mukanov (10:0). It is notable that the official weight of losers is 66 kg, however they both are listed exactly for 73 kg, the reason is simple – neither Lim nor Mukanov, who are preparing for the International tournament “Grand Slam” (Tokyo, November, 29 – December, 1), have had time to lose weight.

Eldos Zhumakanov failed in the weight class up to 66 kg. The winner of the World Grand-Prix (Almaty, 2013) lost to Ilias Izmagilov in 1/8 of final, who, however, finally was the third one.
