​The World Judo Grand-Prix. The curtain is dropped.

The world Judo Grand-Prix has been finished in Almaty Sport Palace named after Baluan Sholak. On the second day of license tournament the Kazakhstani national team won three golden medals, two silver ones and one bronze award.

The highest awards were taken by Maksim Rakov (in the picture – in the centre) (in the weight class up to 100 kg he defeated the Russian Stanislav Gasinov, Utkur Kurbanov from Uzbekistan and Rafael Buzakarini from Brazil), Islam Bozbaev ( in the weight class up to 90 kg he was stronger than Dmitriy Dovgan from Russia, Eduardo Silva from Brazil and Hurshid Nabiev from Uzbekistan, who, indeed, didn’t participated in final because of trauma), and Gulzhan Isanova (in the weight of +78 kg she defeated the Russian Ksenia Chibisova and Marina Slutskaya from Belarus).

The second medals were taken by Erzhan Shynkeev (in the weight class +100 kg he lost to Alexander Vakhavyak from Belarus) and Albina Amangeldieva (in the weight class up to 78 kg she conceded to the Russian Anastasia Dmitrieva)

Ruza Dukhturbaeva (+78 kg) won the repechages in petite final for the bronze, who defeated Javzmau Odkhuu from Mongolia.

In total event of Grand-Prix Kazakhstani national team took the first place. There are five golden, five silver and seven bronze medals in its collection.
