Eurasian Games: Kazakhstani judokas won 17 medals

Kazakhstani judokas won five golden, eights silver and four bronze medals at the III Eurasian Youth Sport Games, which are carrying out in Almaty now. In total Judo event our team takes the second place.

So, the world cadet champion (2013) Baurzhan Zhauyntaev (60 kg) (in the picture), Didar Hamza, who won the bronze medal at the world championship in the weight class up to 73 kg, as well as young Adiya Sain (40 kg) are among golden winners.

Also, Eskendir Yusbekov (55 kg) and Akniet Turdan (63 kg) became the golden medalists.

The second line of individual event is taken by the following judokas: Zhanbolat Omar (46 kg), Magzhan Shamshadin (50 kg), Bekadil Shaymerdenov (66 kg), Erasyl Bolat (81 kg), Aida Karchaeva (44 kg), Alfia Kabdel (48 kg), Iolanta Berlybekova (57 kg) and Nazerke Oryntai (78 kg).

Bronze prize-winners are: Raimbek Ashikbaev (90 kg), Alibi Zhumadilaev (+90 kg), Zhanerke Kuanysheva (70 kg) and Kamila Berlikash (+78 kg).

Let us remind that the III Eurasian Youth sport games are carried out from September, 15 to September, 20 and include contests in 13 sports: judo, boxing, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, cycling, track and field athletics, swimming, sambo, sport gymnastics, taekwondo, weightlifting, artistic gymnastics and Kazakh wrestling.

About 700 sportsmen at the age of 17-23, presenting national teams of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, participate in the tournament.
