Mukanov's silver medal has been rewarded at its true worth
The fights of the world judo championship (senior group) were over, which took place from August, 26 to September, 1 on the area of «Maracanãzinho Arena» sport complex in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Totally, 779 sportsmen representing 124 states participated in these competitions. The only one prize-winning place was taken by Kazakhstani national team at this championship. Kazakhstani judoka Azamat Mukanov was rewarded at his worth for the honorary silver medal.
Our medalist-triumphant was solemnly rewarded with 12,5 million tenge at the opening of the world judo Grand-Prix in Almaty. Means were presented by Confederation of combat and strength sports of Republic of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstani Judo Federation.
Let us remind that Azamat Mukanov confidently defeated his opponents on the way to the top, but in the fight for "gold" the Japanese judoka Masasi Ebinuma won. Azamat Mukanov has became engaged in judo recently and he is already taken high position in world rating.
