About the final fight at the World Grand-Prix in Almaty (up to 100 kg)

- I fought with the Brazilian for the first time. He fights unconventionally. He has such a physical form… I couldn’t understand him, it was difficult to fight. I didn’t manage to do this. He is most likely not so strong, sometimes he was completely at sea, and he is a little bit flabby (smiling). On the other hand Buzakarini is a bronze prize-winner of Kazan Sports Games, typical Brazilian, don’t let me fight, has been moving a lot. However, I managed to catch him and I think that my victory is absolutely deserved.

About the failures at the London Olympics and Brazilian championship

- I’m a trivial person, who has flights and falls. In addition there are new rules for me in fighting, and, telling the truth, traumas are exhausted me. Before the world championship I haven’t recovered fully, I do it only now. As for the failure in London… It strongly broke me on psychological level. It was very hard. I expected to win only the golden medal there, but as it turned out…

About the carrying out of the World Grand-Prix in Kazakhstan

- I’m glad that such a prestige tournament will take place every September (before 2016 inclusive – author’s note) in our country. First, it’s licensed; second, you go on tatami with the splendid support of native audience. It’s easier to fight, it doesn’t matter what spirit you have…
