Grand Prix. 60kg. Three Kazakhstan fighters in the semifinals
The World Judo Grand Prix have just kicked off in the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty. We present the current results of the fights among men in weight category up to 60 kg.
Eldos Smetov won a victory over the Belarusian fighter Arif Bagirov and get to the semifinal stage where he’s opponent will be the Brazilian athlete Diego Santos. Ashat Telmanov and Aibek Imashev also got to the same stage, however, they will decide who will go to the final in the battle between both of them. Prior to that, Telmanov was able to beat another Kazakhstan athlete Rustam Ibraev (in his first fight he won a victory over the Mirdzhon Tuxtayev and now will meet Xerlen Ganbold from Mongolia), Imashev on the other hand was able to beat the fighter from Kirgizia Zholoy Ibraimov and the same Herlen Ganbold)
