The world judo Grand-Prix is licensed tournament under the aegis of International Judo federation. During four years September stage of these prestige competitions will be carried out in Kazakhstan, starting with 2013 and to 2016.
The organizers of the international tournament are:
- Judo Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
- Confederation of combat and strength sports
- Agency on sport and physical culture affairs of Kazakhstan
- Almaty city administration

Judo Grand-Prix takes place in the Sport Palace named after Baluan Sholak. Address: Almaty, Abay Avenue, 44, on the corner of Baytursynov Street. Everyone may visit the competitions free of charge.
