PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT
From 24 - 30 August 2015 for the first time in Kazakhstan's capital Astana held the world championship in judo. It will bring together 823 sportsmen (495 men and 328 women) from 137 countries. Also, the capital was visited by about 1000 guests from around the world, including the coach, president of the Federation and other officials. 160 journalists have applied for coverage of the event. World Championship held on the eve of the Olympics, which further enhances its importance for all participants.
Event venue - Ice Palace "Alau". Competitions will be held in 7 weight categories for men and women, also held the team championship.
Official press-conference with participation of the International Judo Federation, will be held on August 23 at 14.30 in the hotel "Rixos".
