​Kazakhstan Judo Championship. Day One

Today the national judo championship among men and women started, which will take place from May 30 to June 1 in Karaganda.

On the first day of competition winners in the men 60 kg and 66 kg weight categories and women 48 kg, 52 kg and 57 kg weight categories brought out.

In the weight category of 60 kg Darkhan Serzhanov (Kyzylorda) became the national champion, at the final round, he was stronger than Arman Otarbayev. Bronze medals were taken by Seriktay Zaketaev (Akmola region) and Zhaksylyk Musurmanov (Astana).

Otgontsetseg Galbadrah (South Kazakhstan) celebrated the victory In the 48 kg weight category , Silver medal went to Meruert Imangalieva (East Kazakhstan). Third place went to Aigul Baykuleva (Aktobe region) and Dinara Iskakova (Astana).

Olesya Kutsenko (Mangistau region) took first place in the 52 kg category, the second place went to Guldane Almuhanbetovoy (West Kazakhstan region). Nazgul Yelmuratova (East Kazakhstan region) and Alexander Podryadova (South Kazakhstan region) won bronze medals.

Gabit Esimbetov (South Kazakhstan) took the gold medal in the 66 kg weight category, silver medal were taken by Zhansaya Smagulova (Karaganda region), bronze medalists are Askhat Thelmanov (Atyrau) and Yerasyl Sakenuly (Almaty).

In the category of 57 kg Nazgul Kubasheva (Atyrau) became the champion, she defeated Anna Starchenko (Karaganda region). Third place were taken by Bakyt Kusakbaeva (Aktobe region) and Sevara Nyshanbaeva (South Kazakhstan region).

- This is my first competiton in Kazakhstan, organization is at a very high level. My opponents I first met at joint training camp in Shymkent, and all the girls welcomed me very well. I'm glad to be a part of this team, I hope to be beneficial for Kazakhstan national team at international competitions.
