Nursultan Nazarbayev participates in a youth forum in Uralsk
Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Head of State, has participated in the republican forum "Youth is for strong Kazakhstan" in Uralsk today, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Held at the local tennis center, the forum brought together more than 2,000 young people, including, outstanding athletes, students and creative youth. Young residents of Atyrau and Mangystau regions joined their peers at the forum via video conference.
At the forum, two-time Olympic weightlifting champion Ilya Ilyin thanked President Nazarbayev for utmost attention paid to the development of sports and athletes. Member of the Council of the Nationwide movement "Kazakhstan-2050" and head of the Kazakh-Finnish business hub Mukhtar Mankeyev noted that ‘Kazakhstan creates all conditions for youth'.
Recall that President Nazarbayev is currently on a working trip to West Kazakhstan region where the Kazakh leader is expected to visit a number of facilities.
