IOC Forum in Monaco
The official opening ceremony of 127th Session of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) took place in Monaco on December 7.
Performing in Opening Ceremony, the President of IOC Tomas Bach has reiterated the importance of the full membership meeting of IOC from December 8 to 9, where 40 recommendations, that formed the Olympic Agenda 2020, shall be voted, and the strategic plans for the future of Olympic Games will be discussed.
«The Olympic Agenda 2020 is like a compound puzzle. Each part, each recommendation has the same importance. Only when you fold all of these 40 parts together, you shall see the whole picture. You will see the progress in ensuring of success of the Olympic Games, the progress in safeguarding of Olympic values and the process of sports strengthening in society», - noted Bach.
The Prince of Monaco, His Majesty Albert II, the President of the Olympic Committee of Monaco welcomed the members of IOC in the reception before the Opening Ceremony.
