There are six days, hundreds of participants and 15 sportsmen from national team. Individual competitions at the World Judo championship (senior group) in Rio do Janeiro are finished. It's time to sum the results. Kazakhstan finished the championship with four positions in individual event, including the "silver" medal. Azamat Mukanov win it on tatami in the weight class up to 66 kg. Dastan Ykybaev took the fifth rating line in the weight of 73 kg, Eldos Smetov and Askhat Telmanov took the seventh place in the weight class up to 60 kg.

Neither Maksim Rakov, nor Gulzhan Isanova, nor Erzhan Shynkeev could reach prize-winning fights. But supporters believe that our judokas will be able to distinguish themselves at the Home Grand-Prix, which takes place at the end of September.
Team contests take place today in Rio de Janeiro, where Kazakhstan team will be also represented by Ertugan Torenov in the weight of 73 kg. One can watch the fights in online regime on ippon.tv web-site.
