President of the Combat and strength sports Confederation Timur Kulibayev attended the session of the Executive Council of the Association of National Olympic Committees (hereinafter - ANOC) in Kuwait.

After he participated in the session of the Commission regards the Foreign Relations of ANOC. The main agenda is to activate and strengthen the role of UNESCO in the ANOC, contribution of ANOC in the participation of several projects within the framework of United Nations agencies, as well as joining ANOC in the Economic and Social council of UN.

President of the Confederation also met with the president of the Olympic Council of Asia and ANOC Sheikh Ahmad Al - Fahad Al- Sabah. Both sides discussed the development of sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In January 2014, Timur Kulibayev was appointed as the member of the Committee of Foreign Relations of the ANOC.

Also in Kuwait T. Kulibayev met with the President of the International Convention SportAccord and the International Judo Federation (IJF) Marius Wieser. During this meeting there were discussed the issues regards the upcoming International SportAccord Convention in Turkey, Belek-2014, the possibility of holding the International Convention in Kazakhstan and the aspects of judo development in our country. In particular, the construction of the Centerof Judo of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, which is going to be completed by the end of 2014.

Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) - an international organization which currently joints 204 National Olympic Committees (NOC), recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Subdivided into five continental associations: Africa (ANOCA), America (PASO), Asia (OCA), Europe (EOC) and Oceania (ONOC) .
