The second day of the Grand Prix in the Samsun City, Turkey (March 28-30) turned out for Kazakhstan men's national team of judo not as successful as the first one. Medals went to other countries.

73 kg. If Dastan Ykybaev (pool B) was left out of the tournament immediately after the first fight by russian Zelimkhan Ozdoev, Ertugan Torenov (on a photo in white kimono) was very close to reach the semifinals. Winning belgian Sami Chuchi and belorussian Vadim Shoka, Torenov in the decisive match in Pool A faced Christopher Voelk and the luck was on side of opponent from Germany. After Ertugan had a chance to fight for the bronze, but in the battle for the small final he lost to ukrainian Vladimir Soroka.

81 kg. Aziz Kalkaman-uly and Adlet Misin finished participation after the second round. They won croatian Tomislav Marjanovic and briton Tom Reed, but in the following battles they lost to russian Murat Habachirov and belgian Joachim Bottieau.

So before the final day of the Grand Prix in the bank of our men's team there is only one medal - the silver of Eldos Smetov.
