Great start!
International judo tournament in the series «Grand Prix» (March 21-23) started in Tbilisi. In the first day of the competition sets of medals are played among men in the weight category of 60 kg and 66 kg.
The final battles will be soon in the evening session but we almost know that in 60 kg weight category Kazakhstan national team will have at least 1 medal. It is Erkebulan Kosayev (on a photo in white kimono) who reached the final where he will face judoist from Azerbaijan Orhan Safarov. The interesting thing is that Kosayev won his teammate Gabit Esimbetov in the semifinal who went to small final automatically after the defeat. He will fight for the bronze with the owner of the tatami Luhumi Chhvimiani. Previously Kosayev has won ukranian Denis Bilichenko and georgian Giorgi Brolashvili. As to Esimbetov, he was stronger than armenian Garik Arutyniyan and another owner of the tatami Amiran Palinashvili.
