New sports complex in Turkestan
The gala-ceremony of this event was participated by the heads of city administration, Kazakhstan box federation, representatives of community sports, sports veterans, students of children’s sports schools. The present of this event were congratulated by mayor of Turkestan B.A. Ashyrbekov, vice-president of Kazakhstan Box Federation S.K. Konakbayev, veteran of sport A.Akzhol and the director of Olympic Training Center E.S. Ibraimov.
Sports complex in Turkestan is the first built in the framework of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation programme, which is implemented in accordance with the request of the president of the federation T.A. Kulibayev with the purpose of developing sports infrastructure in the regions.
Here in specialized gyms supplied with modern equipment and inventories under the guidance of experienced coaches will work sections of boxing, wrestling, judo, taekwondo and weightlifting. Complex approach to the training process organization became possible because of consolidating the activities of federations in these disciplines under the auspices of the Confederation of combat sports and power sports.
Similar sports facilities will be built over time in all areas. Thereby creating conditions for the development of mass sports movement which leads to opening potential of regions in the sport of high achievement. The construction of sports complex in Semey will be finished in July. In addition, there are 2 more regions where new constructions are planned to be build.
This scale became possible by a concept based on the use of unified model of sports complex equipped with all necessary equipment, which is the base model which can easily be transformed depending on conditions of the region. This approach allows not only to use resources efficiently, particularly at the stage of design and estimate documentation but also significantly reduces construction time. Thus, the sports complex in Turkestan was built in 12 months.
Commissioning of this sports facility is a good result of state policy in the social sphere, the joint efforts of regional and municipal authorities, sponsors - National Welfare Fund «Samruk-Kazyna» and the National Company «KazMunaiGas».
