This is the motto the Veteran Olympic Gameswere held under, this time in Italian Turin. More than 28 thousand sportsmen from all over the world were competing for the prize-winning places in 24 sports for ten days, starting from August 2.

Kazakhstan judo national team was especially prominent, and took the first team place, having outranked the top-rank Brazilian and Russian athletes, as well as the Italian home team. Totally, there are three “gold” medals and one “bronze”, which were received in individual competitions.

Ruslan Seilkhanov (team captain), Erzhan Omarbaev, Bolatbek Zhamanbaev, the Eastern Kazakhstan customs officials, joined the judo national team of our country. The team captain won “gold” in an exhausting grapple with an athlete from Germany. A.Omarbaev couldn’t reach the finals because of the injury sustained in training. Nonetheless, he defeated his opponent on the very first minute of his «bronze» title fight and claimed yet one more medal for Kazakhstan.
The doors of the Worldwide Games of the sport veterans, organized under the auspices of the International Organization of the sport veterans, are open for any athletes of all abilities and ages. The minimum age of participants should stay between 25 to 35 years depending on the sport they have chosen.
