Olympic Reserve School in Astana announced the beginning of documents reception
Astana Residential College of Olympic reserve named after Hadjimukan Munaytpasov started admission of students for 2013-2014 academic year.
Reception of documents for college students has started on the 10th of August and will be held till the 20th of August. Entrance exams will take place from 21 to 24 of August. Admission of students will carried out according to sport qualification and kind of sport, such as weightlifting, boxing, cycling, Greco-roman wrestling, judo, free-style wrestling, rowing and canoeing, track and field, swimming, football (women), taekwondo.
For pupils of 7-9 grades documents admission will be ended on August 21. Entrance exams will also take place from 21 to 24 of August in the following kinds of sport: weightlifting, boxing, basketball, cycling, Greco-roman wrestling, judo, free-style wrestling, canoeing and rowing, track and field, swimming, rhythmic gymnastics, taekwondo, archery, football (women), ice-skating, short track, figure skating.
Astana Residential College named after Hadjimukan Munaytpasov has been preparing talented young sportsmen since 1972, with each year developing its directions, extending specializations and adding new kinds of sport into the academic process. In the school of Olympic Reserve the following famous sportsmen studied and started their successful way to their professional career: Shamil Serikov, Daulet Turlykhanov, Ermakhan Ibraimov, Maulen Mamyrov, Olga Shishigina, Vladimir Novikov, Valeriy Lyukin, Valeriy Tihonenko, Islam Bayramukov, Aset Imanbaev, Nurbakhyt Tenizbaev, Aset Mambetov, Erbol Konyratov and others. Among them there are Olympic sportsmen, members of the national team who vindicated the honor of our country in London last year: Darkhan Bayahmetov, Almat Kebispaev, Timur Bolat, Ilyas Suleymenov, Anna Alyabyeva, Ekaterina Rudenko.
