"The world Judo Grand-Prix" in Astana!

"The world judo Grand-Prix" takes place in Astana in 2014. It became known at the cooperative meeting of Confederation of combat and strength sports and Judo Federation. The capital of Kazakhstan was not chosen accidentally. Thus, the world judo championship is planning to be carried out in Astana in 2015, and the "World Grand-Prix" tournament will become the general repetition before the world championship.
Also, the results of 2013 were summed at meeting. On the whole, this year was successful for Kazakhstani judokas. Our sportsmen won the medals of different values at the world championships, Asian championships and international tournaments. Material and technical basis has been strengthened due to the Confederation and the sponsors. Kimono and tatami sets were given to the Departments and regional Federations to popularize judo in regions. At the present time the quantity of people, engaged in judo in our country, increased in an noticeable way. More than nineteen thousand people prefer this sport in Kazakhstan. Also, Judo Federation reported concerning project realization on eight directions of activity, denominated by the President of Confederation Timur Kulibaev.
