Grand-Prix in Tashkent. All hope is imposed on women.

14:49 | 06 october 2013

The final day of the Judo World Grand-Prix has just started in the capital of Uzbekistan. The winners in the weight classes up to 100 kg and +100 kg among men will be revealed.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best tournament for Kazakhstani Judoka fighters in this weight class. Adam Bogatyrev and Darkhan Temirkhanov (both up to 100 kg) lost at their first fights. The first one conceded to the Belarussian Alan Hunay, the second one – to the tatami host Fakhriddin Sharipov.

As for our single judoka in heavy weight – Saulet Abdisalykov, so he didn’t manage to show the result. Stanislav Bondarenko became his offender in preliminary round.

Thus, there are no medals in the Kazakhstani team collection at the World Grand-Prix in Tashkent. We are waiting for victories from women!
