The confederation.kz issued a survey among national mass-media and specialists in order to determine the best judoka 2014 in Kazakhstan. And this is what has come of the survey…

The convincing victory got the one, whose amazing victory in the XVII Summer Asian Games became the historical achievement for the whole country. No one of the native masters of tatami before Incheon could take gold in the main continental start of the four-year. The author of the first grandiose success was Yeldos Smetov! Moreover, the debuting Asian Games for independent Kazakhstan took place in 1994 in Hiroshima. This year marks exactly 20 years since that event.
